dr. Anne-Marie Bouvy (1941)

Vision contains future in the awareness of the past. When one expresses his past, the more sure one is for the future.

Anne-Marie Bouvy wants to free people from their narrowminded frameworks of being and thinking. She dedicates herself to develop peoples visions of the world, as it is their first step in interaction with this world. Without any vision one get lost.

Anne-Marie brings an impressive and extensive collection of experience in the areas of research, development, (para)psychology and management of associations on the international level.

She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Louvain. Some of her publications include "L'entreprise et l'homme, Démocratie industrielle, décembre 1976" and "Carrières féminines, septembre 1971".

Her background includes developing "European Community Consulting" which provides counseling and research services on cross cultural issues within European systems. For that reason she directs a group of specialists to bring alive again Villers-Cotteret, castle of famous French king Francois I, to become a european centre.

Since 1976 Anne-Marie has acted as "Maître de Conférence associé y´ l'Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE) de Lille". She has also been very active in the "Association Dialogue Nord Sud" and created its branches in Brussels, Conakry and Dakar.

For the improvement of this dialogue she frequently visits 'des Chefs Traditionel' in West African countries, to sit and talk with them about their and our enviromental problems and responsabilities.
Her latest project concerns the economic and social life surrounding a mine and chemical company in Senegal.
